These terms cover your use of the Token Genie browser extension and the service behind it, both operated by GVCTEK LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we”, “us”). Using either means you accept them.
Before you publish this page: the bracketed fields below — the legal entity name and the governing jurisdiction — must be filled in, and consumer-law rules on cancellation and refunds differ by country. This is a working draft, not legal advice; have a lawyer read it before you take payments.
Token Genie rewrites a prompt you submit so that it costs fewer tokens, and optionally appends a length constraint intended to shorten the reply. You review every rewrite before it is used. Nothing is ever submitted to an AI provider on your behalf.
Compression is a rewrite, and a rewrite can change an answer. We measure fidelity carefully and warn you when details appear to have gone missing, but we do not guarantee that a compressed prompt produces an identical answer to the original. Check the rewrite before you use it. That is what the preview is for.
Savings vary. Published figures are averages across test sets; the length of any single AI reply is stochastic and outside our control. No specific saving is promised for any specific prompt.
A subscription issues a licence key. Keep it to yourself — it is the only credential the service has. You are responsible for activity under your key. If it is exposed, email us and we will replace it.
A key is for one person. Sharing one key across a team or reselling access is not permitted; get in touch if you need multiple seats.
Paid plans are unlimited for personal use, subject to a fair-use ceiling of 3,000 compressions per calendar month — around a hundred a day. This exists to stop automated abuse of a shared key, not to meter you: ordinary use does not come close. If you reach it, the limit resets at the start of the next month, and you can email us in the meantime.
Free accounts get 20 compressions per calendar month, which also reset on the 1st.
If the service does not work for you, email support@tokengenie.app within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full, no argument. This is in addition to any statutory refund or withdrawal right you have where you live, which these terms do not limit.

We may suspend a key that is being used this way. Where the breach is not deliberate, we will contact you first.
Prompts are processed by Anthropic; payments by Stripe. Their terms apply to their parts. The AI sites the extension works on are unaffiliated with us and may change at any time in ways that break compatibility.
We aim to keep the service up but do not offer a formal uptime guarantee. If an outage materially costs you access to a period you paid for, tell us and we will credit it.
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any loss arising from an AI answer that differed from the one an uncompressed prompt would have produced. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop at any time by cancelling and uninstalling. We may terminate for a serious or repeated breach of section 7, refunding any unused prepaid period.
Material changes are announced by email to subscribers at least 30 days ahead. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — without depriving you of any protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live.
